For second graders at Idle Hour Elementary School in the Connetquot Central School District, the end of the year means teatime. Led by art teacher Krystal Zaglool-Rivera, students created their own ceramic mugs and hosted a tea party to celebrate.
The art room was dressed with white tablecloths and flowers as students sipped ice tea out their handmade creations and snacked on cookies. The students compared their glazed finished products, noting each mugs’ unique designs.
