Huntington Thrift, the latest addition to the local retail scene, is pleased to announce its official ribbon-cutting ceremony sponsored by the Huntington Station Business Improvement District (BID). The event will take place next Wednesday, January 17th, at 4:30 PM at the store located at 2087 New York Ave., Huntington Station.
Owner Michael Esteves, a former founder of a vintage store in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and the owner of All American Tag Sales in Plainview, expressed his excitement about the store’s unique location. Situated in a former printing shop, Huntington Thrift draws inspiration from the ever-changing printing industry, offering a curated collection of previously owned goods with stories waiting to be told.
The store, which opened its doors in early December, operates from Wednesday to Saturday, 11 AM to 7 PM, Sundays 11 AM to 5 PM, and is closed on Tuesdays. Huntington Thrift’s inventory includes a diverse range of items sourced from estate buyouts, online auctions, and tag sales. From antiques and vintage clothing to housewares, tools, and collectibles, the store provides a unique shopping experience for those seeking one-of-a-kind treasures.
Local residents, neighbors, and vintage enthusiasts are invited to join the celebration on January 17th at 4:30 PM, as Huntington Thrift marks its official entry into the vibrant Huntington Station community.
