Friends of Karen’s “Roaring Twenties Gala” on Thursday, March 28, at 6:30 pm at the Stonebridge Country Club in Smithtown will be an inspirational evening. It marks 42 years of bringing help and hope to more than 16,500 children in the New York tri-state area caring for a child with cancer or another life-threatening illness.
Highlights of the evening will be the presentation of awards to two very dedicated honorees: Steven Connolly, CEO of Co-Source Solutions (Humanitarian Award), and Richard Spinelli, Founder of Bryant Air Conditioning Contractors, Inc. (Advocate and Friend Award). Shania, a Friends of Karen child, will give her heartfelt account about her cancer diagnosis and her life-changing journey.
The special evening will include auctions, live music, and entertainment. Monies received will directly make a difference in the lives of children and families to ensure each Friends of Karen family receives our guidance, financial assistance, and emotional support during the darkest days of their lives.
