Fourth graders at Tooker Avenue Elementary School in the West Babylon School District are learning about the Bill of Rights as part of their social studies curriculum. The students were recently tasked with creating a petition to make a change in either their school or community. The students brainstormed different ideas and then created a petition about reasons why they needed the change and the benefits to their school or community.
