Deer Park High School welcomed new members to the National English Honor Society on March 21. The induction ceremony, held in the school’s auditorium, featured remarks from Director of ELA, Reading and Library Justin Uliano, NEHS advisers Teresa Greco and Kristen Wallace, and keynote speakers Tasfia Shaikh (Class of 2020) and Emily Siegel (Class of 2018), as well as a narrative reading from NCTE essayist Chasity Rolon.
