The students at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School laced up their sneakers and readied for the competition during this year’s field activities on May 22-24, divided by grade levels. Ribbons were awarded to individual runners in the distance race and teams competed head to head in the obstacle course. Some of the challenges included teamwork, speed, agility and balance as they battled for the title for their team. Students got in their physical activity while also connecting with classmates. As they rotated through different stations, onlookers cheered for their teams.
