Chatterton Creates Mural To Commemorate 100th Birthday

Continuing its 100^th birthday celebrations for the building, the Chatterton School community in the Merrick Union Free School District unveiled a mural.

Money raised from the PTA Fun Run Fundraiser was put toward this bottle cap mural to commemorate the school’s centennial anniversary.

“Every student and staff member autographed a cap that was placed on the mural,” explained Principal Dana Bermas. “It is proudly on display in our main vestibule.”
