Brookhaven Town Supervisor Dan Panico visited Pre-K students at Nassakeag Elementary School in Three Village to kick off their community helpers unit. Panico read the book, “Hello! Hometown Heroes” to Ms. MacDowell’s class, which introduced students to all the people in communities who help make lives safer, cleaner and better. Panico also discussed his role with students and how he works to help the Three Village community. Throughout the community helpers unit, Ms. MacDowell’s class will welcome several guest speakers including a doctor and police officer.
