Fourth grade students in Mrs. Cranmer’s class at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School in the Copiague School District have recently discovered that math comes in all shapes and sizes. With protractors in hands, the students have been working on their geometry unit learning different types of lines and angles. They enjoyed drawing and measuring angles using protractors, finding the measure of an unknown angle and learning how to find complementary and supplementary angles. Their hard work is on display in the hallway bulletin board.
