Bayport-Blue Point High School Confers Class of 2020

On July 25, Bayport-Blue Point High School hosted a series of four socially distanced commencement ceremonies for its graduating Class of 2020. All of theceremonies were held on the school’s football field and included speeches by principal Robert Haas, board of education president Michael Miller, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Timothy Hearney, valedictorian Douglas McDonough and salutatorian Jacob Lurie.

Each graduate was permitted two guests, and family members had the opportunity to bestow Honor Medallions upon graduates who had maintained a GPA of at least 90%. With great pride, Bayport Blue Point School District sincerely congratulates each member of the extraordinary Class of 2020, welcomes them to the alumni community, and wishes them much success in their futures.
