Autumn Events Calendar Released for The Adventure Park at Long Island

The Adventure Park at Long Island, the area’s largest zipline and climbing adventure experience, announces their schedule of 2024 autumn-themed events.

“The Adventure Park is always a popular autumn destination,” said Phil Insalaco, Park Manager.  “With cooler weather and vibrant fall foliage, it’s a time when the thrill of adventure perfectly intersects with the beauty of nature, creating an unforgettable experience for every visitor.”

The Adventure Park at Long Island offers Glow in the Park, its signature nighttime event, on Saturdays through November 23, 2024.  Glow in the Park events are a highly popular and unique way to experience the Park with ziplining and climbing through an illuminated forest.

“Day or night, watching the leaves change from the vantage point of the treetops is an autumn highlight for our guests,” said Mr. Insalaco.

Each Glow in the Park event features a music theme, from 70s Disco to Broadway Favorites.  In October, Glow events feature an autumn-related theme with the following schedule:

• Saturday 10/5: Fall Festival
• Saturday 10/12, 10/19 and 10/26: Halloween

Other Autumn events include:

• Iron Squirrel Challenge: Sunday September 22.  Guests challenge themselves to complete all 14 of the Park’s courses in a single visit and earn the title “Iron Squirrel.”
• Happy Hour Friday:  Skip the drinks and head to the trees for a Happy Hour Climb on Fridays this fall.  Guests who book a Happy Hour Climb ticket get a discounted 2 hour climb plus a free souvenir water bottle.
• “Eyeball” Scavenger Hunt: As part of the Park’s Halloween festivities, “eyeballs” will be strategically hidden throughout the Park.  Find the locations of the eyeballs and win a treat from the Park Store.  The scavenger hunt will run during regular operating hours from October 11 – 30.
