Assemblyman Michael Durso (Massapequa Park) recently celebrated eighteen extraordinary women from the 9th Assembly District at his 2nd Annual Women of Distinction Awards Ceremony. These remarkable women were recognized for achieving outstanding results in their work and personal lives as well as giving back to their communities.
“It was an honor and privilege to acknowledge these exceptional women for their professional and personal accomplishments. Their graciousness and commitment to excellence make each of them a deserving Woman of Distinction,” Durso said. “Congratulations to all our honorees and thank you for everything you do to make our communities a better place. And a special thank you to the Massapequa High School Small String Ensemble and Massapequa High School student Jayden Pearl who sang our National Anthem.”
Assemblyman Durso represents South Farmingdale, Massapequa, Massapequa Park, Babylon, Brightwaters, North Babylon, West Babylon, West Bay Shore, West Islip and the Great South Bay.
