Amityville Farmer’s Market Grand Opening

While the Amityville Farmer’s Market has successfully operated in the Village for over a decade, a new location was chosen for this year. After participating in the FUMC Craft Fair last year, the market manager decided to relocate from the 9/11 Park to the Great Lawn at 25 Broadway, next to First United Methodist Church, just north of Merrick Rd.

Opening day will be Saturday, June 15, continuing every Saturday until October 26. It will operate from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M., featuring many familiar vendors and some new ones. Carucci Farms, Baked at Home, and Horman’s Pickles will return featuring fresh produce delicious baked goods, and tasty pickles. Additionally, there will be breads, empanadas, jams and other delightful products.

Find great gifts from the many craft vendors. Visiting the booth of the sponsor, Bay
Village Civic Association, you will find “Amityville on the Bay” tees, hoodies, and hats to
purchase.

Parking is available on the street, as well as at the municipal parking lot across the street. The continued support of the community is greatly appreciated.
