Sachem students are back in the classroom this summer for the district’s enrichment program in collaboration with SCOPE Education Services. Students are connecting with their peers and enjoying activities at both Hiawatha and Nokomis elementary schools.
Students are participating in hands-on projects and activities that stretch over several interest areas including STEAM classes such as robotics and rocketry, a theater program, culinary arts, sports, and arts and crafts. The enrichment program gives students the opportunity to make new friends throughout the summer while bonding over shared interests. Additionally, it complements what students are learning in the classroom during the school year.
