Your Dog Wants To Go To DogFest Long Island 2025, Benefiting Canine Companions

It’s a tail-waggin’ good time you won’t want to miss! Canine Companions DogFest Long Island raises funds for Canine Companions service dogs, which assist people with disabilities. Gather your family and friends on Saturday, September 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Marjorie Post Park, 451 Unqua Road, in Massapequa Park. Clients, volunteers, donors, supporters, and your own canine friends are invited as they celebrate the mission of Canine Companions. It will be a day of games, inspiring speakers, activities for your kids, service dog demonstrations, music, and more. This year, they are celebrating 50 years of service and independence. Canine Companions created the modern service dog concept in 1975 and has since raised, trained, and placed more than 8,300 service dogs with people with disabilities. Special thanks to National Presenting Sponsor, Eukanuba, and to our local sponsors: WBAB/WBLI, Suffolk Credit Union, and Tito’s Vodka.
