Harborfields High School’s guidance department hosted its annual mini college fair on Oct. 18, as part of the North Shore College Consortium. A total of 52 colleges and universities were in attendance in the school’s gym to speak one on one with students from all four grades about topics such as admission and course requirements, class sizes and student-to-faculty ratios, AP credits, majors, honors programs, extracurricular activities, internship and study abroad opportunities, campus life, scholarships and financial aid.
“This was a great opportunity for our students to ask the college representatives questions and learn about colleges and universities from all over the country,” school counselor Jackie Best said. “This year we expanded the time of the college fair for three full periods to allow more students the opportunity to attend.”
Harborfields will host another college mini fair on March 20, 2023 along with an evening college fair on March 22.
