The 30 canvas paintings and mixed media works for the “Poetry in Color” exhibition, bring to life some of poetry’s most famous works. Featuring iconic literature, the public is sure to recognize, this exhibition highlights the skills and talents of people with differing abilities.
“Creative and talented artists at DDI have dedicated their time and skills to generate these exceptional pieces,” said Juliana Dennis, Art Teacher and Art Gallery Assistant for DDI. “Most of the artwork from the exhibit is for sale, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to the artists.

“The gallery is an essential part of our Adult Day Program as it gives the people we support an opportunity to showcase their amazing artistic talents. We commend all of the artists for their hard work, and we welcome, by appointment, visitors to get a first-hand look at their masterpieces,” said Sherry McKeown, Administrative Director of Adult Day Services for DDI.
