25 Year U.S. Army Veteran Finds New Purpose As A Small Business Owner On Long Island

An Army Veteran from New York with more than 25 years of service is starting a new beginning for herself, by taking her love and passion for dogs, and opening new york’s first dog spa on Long Island.

Phaedera Rosario, a Lieutenant Colonel retiree, is the owner of an elevated spa experience for dogs called “Bubbly Paws.” Rosario grew up with animals and has years of dog training. She says her love for dogs and the Long Island community, is exciting and brings her joy to serve all of the local residents’ canine companions. Just like humans enjoying a luxury spa experience, “Bubbly Paws” provides owners to have their dogs taken care of with a self-service and full-service grooming salon.

“Bubbly Paws” focuses on an airy and bright aesthetic, with glass-paneled grooming rooms that offer clients full transparency, high-end products, and low-noise dryers to keep anxious dogs at ease. The space is created to feel inviting and personal, where dogs can be treated in either self-service porcelain tubs or pampered by a team of expert groomers.

“As a longtime Long Island resident and dog lover, I knew that I wanted to bring a business to the area that would not only fulfill my passions but service the community in a meaningful way,” said franchisee Phaedra Rosario. “I know that pets are family, and I look forward to connecting with my neighbors and their loved ones, both human and canine.”
