Legislator Abrahams Joins With NuHealth And Community Partners To Host Breast Cancer Screening Event In Hempstead

Nassau County Legislator Kevan M. Abrahams (D – Freeport) partnered with NuHealth, Empire BlueCross Blue Shield HealthPlus, and local community organizations to bring the NUMC Mamo van to Empire BlueCross’ Hempstead office on Wednesday, May 11. During the screening event, patients received a breast exam from a nurse, a mammography, and self-exam instructions.
