West Islip High School’s gymnastics team recently received multiple honors at the Suffolk County Girls Gymnastics Coaches Association awards dinner, including three All-County nods, seven All-League, one Honorable Mention All-League and a Scholar-Athlete award.
Kim Areana, Emily McGrade and Alyssa Woltmann earned All-County status; Cassidy Cullen, Nele Gronenberg, Olivia Marker, Faith McCann, Rebecca McCann, Theresa Rand and Delaney Rivera were named All-League; Grace Iehle earned Honorable Mention All-League; and Cullen was recognized as a Scholar-Athlete.
