Realty Connect USA Proves That There Is Power In Pink

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Realty Connect USA is proving that there is truly POWER IN PINK.  Realty Connect USA, in partnership with Panera Bread and Hewlett House, held their 2nd Annual THINK PINK BAGEL BREAKFAST at their Woodbury, Long Island headquarters on October 4, 2019 to kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Realty Connect USA agents and brokers forgot about the “carb counting” on this special day and made a difference by going PINK and supporting Panera’s Pink Ribbon Bagel initiative. On October 4, Panera of Syosset held a one- day event where 100% of the net sales of Pink Ribbon Bagels sold to Realty Connect USA and so many others were donated to help the fight against Breast Cancer.

“If we all join forces, we can make a difference in the lives of those struggling with breast cancer and all cancers. Research, education, treatment and support are so important to those facing a cancer diagnosis and Realty Connect USA is dedicated to helping in that fight. We were honored to once again welcome Geri Barish to our Think Pink Breakfast and were thrilled that Legislator Rose Walker joined us this year,” stated Fern Karhu, Owner/ Broker of Realty Connect USA.

The POWER OF PINK continued as guest speaker, Geri Barish, Executive Director of Hewlett House, provided valuable insights to attendees on the free services that Hewlett House provides those struggling with cancer. Located in Hewlett, Long Island, Hewlett House is a cancer resource & learning center that provides empowerment to women and men experiencing the effects of cancer through

outreach services, library services, as well as classes, workshops and social events.  Joining, Geri was Legislator Rose Walker, a cancer survivor herself, who spoke about how Hewlett House offered her help and hope as she was struggling with cancer. In addition, Fern Karhu and Bart Cafarella presented Geri Barish with a donation check for Hewlett House from Realty Connect USA, praising her efforts and dedication to providing help and resources to those battling cancer.

Realty Connect USA was honored to partner with Panera Bread, Geri Barish of Hewlett House and Legislator Rose Walker in sponsoring our 2nd Annual THINK PINK BAGEL BREAKFAST. Providing valuable information regarding treatment options and the services that are available right here on Long Island is so important to anyone battling this disease,” stated Bart Cafarella, Owner/ Broker of Realty Connect USA.
