To help celebrate Earth Day on April 22 and bring awareness to how everyone can do their part to protect the planet, Copiague Middle School held a poster contest for students in all its grade levels.
Posters were judged on creativity, originality, Earth Day theme and quality of artwork. First-place winners in each grade received gift cards. The district congratulates Adam Guglielmelli (grade 6), Shenn Barredo (grade 7) and Alice Sztabinski (grade 8).
