Port Jefferson Music Students Perform at The Charles Dickens Festival

Members of the entire Port Jefferson School District’s music department performed during the 23rd annual Charles Dickens Festival’s Victorian Tea held at the First Presbyterian Church in Port Jefferson Village.

Musical ensembles including the elementary fifth-grade select choir, the elementary/middle school chamber orchestra, the middle and high school orchestras, the high school chamber choir, and the high school jazz ensemble performed holiday favorites throughout the weekend’s event. Following these concerts, students from the middle and high school orchestras performed chamber music at the Port Jefferson Public Library.

A special thank you to all of the student musicians for sharing their holiday music with the community as well as their music teachers Maria Diaz, Christian Neubert, Danielle Post, Vanessa Salzman, Edward Pisano and Director of Music and Fine Arts, Michael Caravello.
