Pal-O-Mine Equestrian Open House

On Sunday, October 13, 2019, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, Inc., a private, not for profit organization providing a comprehensive therapeutic equine program using horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing for children and adults with disabilities, will be holding its annual, free Open House. The event will be held at the Pal-O-Mine facilities located at: 829 Old Nichols Road, Islandia, New York 11749.

Visitors to Pal-O-Mine’s Open House will get to see the organization’s herd of specially trained therapy horses, tour the 13-acre facility and meet the professionals and volunteers who provide individualized programs for hundreds of Long Islanders, including adults and children with cognitive, emotional and physical disabilities, disadvantaged youth and military veterans. There will be interactive children’s activities throughout the day.

All of Pal-O-Mine’s programs center around the horses, miniature horses and farm animals. This organization is probably one of the most unique and best-kept secrets right in our backyard.

The Open House will be followed by a barbeque and music concert starting at 4 PM for which tickets are required. The ticket price is $100.00. It will be feature singer/songwriter Scott Helmer, who tours across the country supporting all types of charities. He has opened for iconic acts like Heart, Eddie Money, 3 Doors Down, Jeff Bridges, Big Country and Eric Burdon & The Animals. His “One-Man Rock & Country Music Show” has played to thousands and raised millions of dollars dedicated to helping others and now he brings it all to Pal-O-Mine Equestrian in Islandia.

Come and join the fun, food and music. To purchase concert tickets, call: 631-348-1389. For more information, visit: www.pal-o-mine.org.
