JONES BEACH STATE PARK SEAL WALKS

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that Jones Beach State Park will be offering a series of walks to see wintering seals January through March. Meet at the Jones Beach Nature Center, West End, where a State Park Naturalist will lead visitors on an hour and a half leisurely beach walk to an area where up to four species of seals can be observed. Along the way, there will be opportunities to see many winter birds and to explore marine geology. Please dress appropriately and wear comfortable footwear for hiking. Binoculars are recommended.

Reservations are required and can only be made online: https://bookwhen.com/JonesBeachNatureCenter … Space is limited! Program fee is $4.00 per person.
