Jingle All The Way To The Festival

The St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Christmas Bazaar!

On December 7, 2019, from 9:00am to 2:00pm, people will be dancin’, prancin’, shopping and eating at the annual Christmas Bazaar at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, located at 754 Montauk Highway in Islip.

Booths will include: a wreath room with fresh wreaths, flower arrangements, toys, home decor, craft items, raffles, and more. There will also be a Bake Table and a Cookie Walk!

Speaking of cookies, “I know someone who goes to all the Christmas festivals on South Bay, but she says she always has to come to this one because we have the best cookies!” said the Very Reverend Richard E Simpson, rector, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.

This year on December 7th there will also be two exciting concerts:  At 10:30 there will be a kids sing-a-long with a special (surprise) guest appearance and at 2:00 get ready to get into the Christmas Spirit with some fun music at a concert by Long Island reSound Handbell Ensemble!

The decades-old Christmas Bazaar is organized by ECW (Episcopal Church Women).

“It’s so much fun and helps to raise money for the church, and that filters down to the community…for me, the spirit of giving is what Christmas is all about!” said Helen Selgrad, long-time parishioner and former president, St Mark’s ECW.

Who knows? Maybe even Santa will show up.
