As a celebration of their dedication to become stronger readers, fourth-grade students in Debbie Vieira and Lisa Celentano’s class at Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School in the Rocky Point Union Free School District participated in a special pajama reading celebration.
During the special workshop, the students were encouraged to dress in festive pajamas and take part in silent reading, teacher read aloud, and partner reading projects.
“The students know there’s something really special about cuddling up with a great book,” said Ms. Vieira.
