Carvel® Celebrates Smithtown Opening with Free Jr. Cup or Cone

New Shoppe Offering BOGO Deals For Grand Opening Week

America’s Freshest Ice Cream® is celebrating the opening of its newest Long Island shoppe in the Hillside Village Center at 77 Route 111 with a grand opening event full of fun and eight days of delicious deals.

The Smithtown Carvel will be hosting their official grand opening event on Saturday, November 2 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The grand opening event will feature a balloon artist, face painter, DJ and a guest appearance from Fudgie the Whale®. Guests will also receive one free junior soft serve cup or cone from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the grand opening event, limit one per person.

“We’re excited to join the community of Carvel shoppes serving ice cream lovers in the Long Island area,” said Smithtown franchisee Teresa Chiu. “Whether you’re a newcomer or you grew up with the brand, we look forward to serving you Carvel…America’s Freshest Ice Cream.”

The daily grand opening week of deals include:

  • Monday, October 28 – Buy one small cup/cone, get a kid’s cup/cone FREE!
  • Tuesday, October 29 – Buy one flying saucer® 6-Pack, get one for FREE!
  • Wednesday, October 30 – Buy one, get one free sundaes!
  • Thursday, October 31 – Buy one Sundae Dasher®, get one for $1!
  • Friday, November 1 – Buy one shake, get one for $1!
  • Saturday, November 2 – Grand Opening, Free Jr. Cone (soft serve only)!
  • Sunday, November 3 – Buy one small round cake, get one Oreo Lil Rounders® 6-Pack for $1!
  • Monday, November 4 – Buy one Oreo Lil’ Rounders® 6-Pack, get one FREE!

The Smithtown Carvel grand opening is just one of the many celebrations happening for Carvel, which celebrates its 85th birthday this year. 2019 marks 85 years since founder, Tom Carvel, invented soft ice cream and opened the first Carvel shoppe. Clearly, the iconic brand sees no reason to slow down, or stop celebrating!
