The Baumann Family Fleet of Buses is one of the top transportation companies on Long Island. They have been in operation since the early 1940’s. Richard and Doris Baumann started the company to address a need for the transportation of children to and from a family-owned day camp. Here Are a Few Back to School Safety Tips:
• Remember that red flashing lights and an extended stop arm means a child is entering or exiting a school bus.
• Passing a stopped school bus with red flashing lights and the stop arm out is very dangerous.
• Maintain a safe distance behind a school bus. School buses stop frequently to pick up children.
