A number of Connetquot High School seniors visited their old elementary schools on June 21 to continue the annual Senior Walk tradition. As part of it, the elementary school principals welcomed the Class of 2019 members to their campuses to visit with former teachers and meet current elementary students.
Poised for their June 26 graduation in their red and white caps and gowns, the students met at the high school in the morning and were taken by school bus to their respective elementary schools, where they were eagerly welcomed by several of their past teachers.
With the younger students cheering them on, the seniors walked through the buildings in a memorable final procession, posing for photo opportunities along the way.
Connetquot’s Senior Walk is an inspiration for everyone involved, as the current elementary students look forward to their turn in the tradition down the road.
