1. Now Thrugh August 26th – HAIRSPRAY – The Broadway Musical burns a hole in the ozone over the The Argyle Theatre. Join big-haired teenager Tracy Turnblad in her quest to dance on the local teenage TV dance program.
2. JULY 17th – the Dave Matthews Band comes to Jones Beach. This tour features music from their latest album COME TOMORROW, and of course all the hits you’ve come to love.
3. JULY 18th – Celebrate 50 YEARS OF YES AT THE NYCB theatre at Westbury. Even at this major milestone, these giants of rock manage to put on a performance that is refreshing and fresh.
4. JULY 21st – Steppingstone Waterside Theatre in Great Neck welcomes Long island’s own superstar … Taylor Dayne. Enjoy Taylor’s powerful voice as she sings her top hits, including the the mega popular “Tell It to My Heart.”
5. JULY 22nd BLACKMORE’s Night lights up the stage at The Paramount. Their latest release, To The Moon And Back: 20 Years And Beyond… is a best-of compilation including the most-requested and beloved songs from their fans.
